Hi, I’m Natalie, the founder of Lit Wax Melts — a pink‑obsessed, scent‑loving, eco‑minded maker who believes small actions can make a big difference.

🌿 My Story

From a young age, I’ve always cared about the planet in a way that felt instinctive. I was the child who refused to drop litter, even when no one was watching. One moment from my teenage years has stayed with me ever since.

When I was about fourteen, I was out in the woods with friends. They smoked; I didn’t. When they dropped their cigarette packaging on the ground, I couldn’t leave it there. I picked it up, slipped it into my pocket, and planned to throw it away later. I forgot it was there.

When my Mom washed my jeans and found the packet, she thought I’d been smoking. She didn’t believe that I’d simply picked up someone else’s rubbish (even though she was the one who taught me never to litter in the first place - and not to give in to peer pressure). 

I remember feeling frustrated, not because of the misunderstanding, but because it made me realise how deeply I cared about doing the right thing, even when it wasn’t seen or appreciated.

That moment shaped me. It taught me that small actions matter, that caring for the planet isn’t a trend, and that doing the right thing is worth it even when no one notices.

Lit Wax Melts was built on that same belief - but also on something much deeper.

Years later, during one of the hardest chapters of my life, I found myself needing an escape. Wax melts became that escape. They gave me something gentle to focus on, something creative, something that felt like mine when everything else felt chaotic. Over time, they helped me rebuild my confidence, my sense of home, and eventually, my life.

Becoming a mum in 2025 brought that spark back even stronger. It reminded me how important it is for women (especially moms/mums) to have small moments of calm in the middle of the noise. That’s why my products are made for women who need a moment of calm, moms who feel overstimulated, and anyone who wants their home to feel warm, safe and grounding again.
